NEW YORK, NY (Oct. 2, 2013) – Hookers & Blow featuring Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses) and Alex Grossi (Quiet Riot) headlined The Bowery Electric in New York and brought forth many classic Guns N’ Roses hits. The duo only utilized a keyboard, an iPad, a set of microphones, and a guitar to produce the familiar songs that we all know and love. The sing-a-longs, orchestrated by Reed consisted of “Used to Love Her“, never-played “Pretty Tied Up“, a cover of The Rolling Stones‘s “Sympathy For the Devil“, and deeper cuts from Use Your Illusions. Hookers & Blow filled the night with crowd-friendly songs that everyone knew and sent everyone home happy.
Queen V started off the night in NYC and are definitely not a band to be taken lightly. This band kicked the night off and took the stage by storm, foreshadowing the night of star-studded rock that would follow.
